This has to be the perfect travel lens for Canon Camera's.

Experience the great power of a 14X zoom range with Tamrons 18-250mm* a single lens capable of shooting both wide angle and telephoto scenes. At nearly 14X, Tamrons lens is one of the worlds most powerful zoom and delivers all the photographic freedom of this enormous range in a single, compact lens. *Like a 28-400mm lens in 35mm format.

how old is the lens? how much use ? boxed ? case etc

Its around 18 months old. Reasonable use ( Around 500 pics ) No box and it never came in a case.

Its in great condition as I take care of my camera stuff. I have a 18-200mm IS Canon so I don't need both

what your honest opinion on the results that you have got and what sort of subjects have you used it for

does this have an image stabaliser ?

I would say its a great lens. I usually take photos of aircraft.

As I say, I got a 18-200mm IS ( Canon ) which has the IS and I would rather sell that but that would be around 320 delivered. So I went for advertising the Tamron instead. The Tamron is a much better lens to take around with you as its much lighter and smaller and a better range.

Rudz, no this doesn't have IS

likewise ,Civil for me , I used my tamron 55-200 Di and took some top shots while at Ringway, pleased with the results but felt I could have got some better shots.. tempted but fancy an image stabilizer lens:?

If you want to go Canon, I have a 6 week old 18-200 :-) £320 though but perfect and remainder of warranty.
