400 Mhz, 10GB Hard Drive, Internet ready.

No scratches to screen or anything, and in good working order - Just a little slow compared to new Macs as this is 8 years old now but they are very reliable and go on for ages!

Complete with Keyboard and Mouse (please note the mouse in the image is different to the one included in this deal, the one I am selling it with is a pebble one (also in perfect working order)

Would make a great computer for a child or for someone looking to get into Macs for the first time, I need the space as I have a new Mac Mini now so only want £30 for it, it's not boxed so I would need the buyer to either collect or arrange a courier (bearing in mind I have no box for it also!).
Shipping/Payment:
Cash on collection preferred (that way buyer can see the Mac working)
Or BT if buyer arranges collection via a courier

what version of system is on it? CD or DVD drive?

It's a DVD model, I think it's the first OSX that's on there ATM (classic too) - Will have to confirm later as that photo was taken a few months back and it's no longer plugged in, will take a look and let you know soon.

10.2.8 is the OS that's on there at the moment, I don't think the Softward Restore is that though, that might just be OS9.

It's got 128MB ram also (which sounds pitiful in this day and age :giggle: )

EDIT - Also, the PRAM battery needs replacing, these can be bought on Ebay for a few quid, it doesn't affect the usage of the Mac at all but it keeps the date and time correct inbetween shut downs so it's optional if you wanted to replace or not, very easy to change though (would take less than a minute).

Im interested but how much would it cost to arrange a courier

Have no idea, like I said above I would prefer collection as I don't have a box the right size with adequate padding etc enough to get it all in securely, so if anyone did arrange a collection by a courier they would also have to arrange for a box for it, I don't believe any courier would take it without one so maybe this has to be "Collection Only" in that case.

does the mac mini have built in wifi?

dhl courier would be around £7 could send an empty box and arrange collection at a later date if you get the dimensions so around £15 all in

Please note, this is not a Mac Mini, it's a iMac, there's some confusion here as someone has just PM'd me thinking it's an eMac also :giggle:

Thanks for the offer but I don't want the hassle of arranging postage and packing, would much prefer a collection only and am in no immediate rush to sell it but would like the space!

It's not too bad, when it was new I thought it was lightning which it was back then, but you only notice it's not that quick anymore when you are using the latest Macs at work and stuff.

OK, have decided to make this collection only now, not likely to sell on here unless someone local spots it, otherwise I will put it in our local paper.
