George should have taken them back due to the fact that it was still tagged. Where an earth is customers going to get a Kimble gun to re tag the item.

How often does the freeview box need resettin? Is it every 5 minutes or so, or evry couple of weeks or something? Interested for my 8 year old
#21
it's not every 5 minutes, from memory what would happen is it would be on stand by and you'd switch on with the remote but for some reason the remote would freeze, watching the channel was fine, you just couldn't change it with the remote. So you'd have to switch it off at mains (pull plug from back) then all would be fine no matter how many times you changed channel. We used to just switch off at the plug so it wasn't left on standby (energy conscious ;) )

We have moved to virgin media now so have no need for the box
#22
so if you just left it on and didn't put it on standby (<~~~ not energy conscious) it would be ok?
#23
i assume so though i haven't checked that configuration
