----------------

Hard drive has been removed.
Believe the motherboard is dead.
Has been opened up.
Unfortunately when opening up the corner on the left of the plastics split as did the metal under the plastics, but I have managed to put this back together and it doesn't seem to have damaged it beyond use. Obviously I am selling this as parts but could be used if fixed. Battery is still there, DVD re-writer, Vista Home Key, memory, processor, and screen were all working before it died.

There is other damage to the unit plastics, few splits and small pieces missing, not effecting functionality. There is few guages in the top plastics.

This was my fathers laptop, and now im my posession I was told to sell it for parts.

Basically I was told it wouldnt come back on once, so I opened it up to see if there was anything logical burnt out but couldn't see anything.

If there is anything I have missed from the description I will add.

-CHARGER INCLUDED HAS PLASTICS SPLITS WILL POST PICTURES. But it is in working order

As qouted removed, and it is being used for personal use by my father.

Yeah I knew it was removed, just wondering if it was for data purpose only.

Strange comment, if you knew it was removed why was this asked, are you interested in the laptop?

I asked if it was available? I knew you removed it but sometimes people do for security purposes so I asked if it was available with a chance it could be securely wiped. Why so arsey when your trying to sell? Not a strange comment at all.

Wasn't an 'arsey' comment, you didn't explain your reasoning and replied with 'I knew it was removed', found it strange when the answers were given in the OP was all. Would of been in the OP if was avalaible, I have outlined this again in bold just incase this question should a rise again, please only reply to this if you have interest in the laptop. Thanks

I would be intersted but can't see any price? If you said a reason why it was not included I would not have to ask lol? Any questions asked should be ok no? I did not ask in a funny way at all.

Price is at the top of the page "£50 OPEN TO OFFERS"
Though if your accessing this through Fo.Lk I would have no clue if it's displayed, the website is a mess.
No problem but you didn't ask it in that way hense the 'Strange comment'
Not a problem anyway the laptop is as described in the OP.

See the price now dunno why i did not first time. Can't seem to find anywhere selling used mother boards for these laptops so not sure its worth my time mate. Does it show any signs of life at all, like a power light etc?

Yep it flashes. (No clue what that means), I know the charge circuit hasn't been burnt out, and I couldn't see any damage to the board itself when I removed it, only damage was to the plastics as mentioned. I have no clue about electronics unless I can see damage.

Sorry if my questions sounded funny, on lemsip and brandy here lol so may be slightly mad.

I have done some reading and these dont seem to have any major issues so it could be totally dead and beyond repair so will leave it for now. Thanks anyway.
