Understand where your coming from but considering the speed of it which is quite fast and it's RAM I thinks it's a good price

Anyway, I'm open to offers around the asking price
#4
I sold a Toshiba latop (not on here) which had 2 GB RAM and dual-core CPU and got £150 for it, therefore you will be lucky to get close to £100.

Lowball offers are classed as thread spoiling.

Hi mate. I sold a Toshiba laptop with a Dual Core Processor, 4GB Ram and a 250GB hard drive for £185 so you may want to consider lowering the asking price a little :)

Just some friendly advice (y)
#7
After considering the above comments, I have decided to lower my asking price to £120 which I think is a fair price

£50-70 is about a fair price for this.....just look on Ebay if you don't believe us.
#9
I've just seen this laptop go for around £100 on eBay so tbh it is a good price
#10
hi there, what's the cosmetic condition of the laptop may i ask?

i know you have post pics - but details are a bit hard to see. Things like the keyboard, any worn/missing keys? scratches to the body?
#11
Nope, none of the keys are worn or missing and I'll try to get some better pics of the keyboard soon

Untreated mate?

So its gone for £100 on Ebay yet you think £120 is a good price when you aren't paying any fees on here.....

Does that make it any easier to see mate?

And jrw-I'm sure your not allowed to use eBay prices as comparisons and that didn't have a charger either so please stop spamming my thread

P.S. My last post is supposed to say 'Interested mate?'
#14
As i said £50-70 is a fair price....come back to me if you want rid...

Also where else are you meant to do comparisons on second hand goods that can't be bought new anymore?
#15
on reflection £120 is quite a lot for what it is... and also you are wanting payment first.

in this case, i am out - unless price is significantly lowered. Cheers
#16
Ok sorry jrw but I think it's a good price for a laptop and it is still negotiable

And ok geoyakult thanks for your intrest though

Used it as a guide but not a comparison? Contradiction lol.
None of us are really thread spoiling mate - you've just overpriced it greatly even with your lowered price.

5 of us above have given you advice on the prices you'd be looking at receiving to sell it. I know you can get the occasional thread spoiler but with that many people telling you the same thing then your clearly doing something wrong.

Don't report this as thread spoiling - I am just trying to get it through to you that your asking price (including the altered one) is far too high for an archaic laptop and is definitely hindering your sale.

I'd definitely lower it to £40-70. You can get cheap but new netbooks for slightly more than your asking which have much better specs.

I hope you take this as advice and not spoiling :)

A maximum of 3 bumps per thread.
Do not bump your threads excessively. It’s not fair on other users. Three bumps per thread are allowed in order to promote your listing. For this reasons, no vague threads are permitted and the item offered/wanted must be specific. Any unnecessary comments or consecutive postings within your thread will be classed as a bump or thread spoil.

Sorry hasan6958 - it isn't just posting the word 'bump' that can count as a bump. Posting 'unnecessary comments or consecutive postings' are also bumps - so sorry this thread is now locked. You can relist in 7 days.
