hi as the title says i have a new xbox 360 console with the new Lite-on drive (not the new hdmi ones) - i am looking for a swap with a modded one. does not matter if banned on live. however should get some form of gurantee that it has not got 3 red lights. as i have previously bought and found out after a couple of days the 3 red lights.
i am in leicester.
thanks

A neighbour has a modded 360 which he wants to sell to get a new xbox unmodded as he misses going live (im unsure if its banned or hes just worried about going live). Do you want me to put him in touch or the other way round?

hi, i can recommend this user: fwibble.
i had send mine to him and he was excellent - he charged £20 including return postage but did not charge me for the mod as my console was the new lite-on which cannot be modded. i would definitely send it to him mate.

can anyone mod a lite-on drive or replace one - any ideas

take it back saying it intermittantly dies on you and get a replacement one. Xboxs are so unreliable that no one would question this. Every time mine has broken, GAME never even bothered to test it, they just handed over a brand new one :)

I dont get it,

You have a new 360 which has a Lite-on drive which modders havent got round to hacking the firmware yet, but the console didnt come with a HDMI port?

please clarify, thanks

sorry not exactly new - it had the 3 red lights which microsoft replaced it with this drive and a new motherboard which i think makes it new and also should prevent the 3 red light problem in the future.
