Means its still registered as a 140 bhp sri and not a 260 bhp fast fast fast turbo nutter with mad insurance . Quite simple really:whistling:

So basically its an uninsurable car at present?
#5
and also illegal not to update vehicle records or inform insurance of modifications! Any insurance would be void unless informed so if you got pulled up you you could get done for no insurance.
#6
Only problem is its never going to have valid insurance if its stolen then recovered, you have a serious accident etc.
#7
just not had time to change it but it can be registerd easy enough, just let the dvla know...
#8
is it the facelift model... 99 on

A likely story sir....

misread , the insurance would be invalid should something occur - all mods the dvla have to be informed of.

Not all mods, but an engine change they do as it's on the V5.

I've got a boat
#13
one of my less sensible mates had a red top put in his corsa, insurance never picked up on it after he wrapped it round a tree. But I wouldn't risk it personally.

i'd prefer the log book to be corrected as im paying for a group 20 now.. so it cant be any worse...

yes its a calibra turbo engine...
no print out of 260bhp but i can keep up with subarus which are 260bhp standard
changing the log book isnt a problem to do as you just let them konw.
the miles on the engine are 68,000 and the cambelt was done when the engine was changed last july
