I am very very upset. My sister saw The Lion King at a friends house, and she wants it. So I thought i'd get it off eBay for her. Then I saw the price. £30!!! Apparently it's rare or something, but I really cannot afford that. Is there ANYONE that would be willing to sell it for £8 maximum? I don't care ANY edition, 1 disc 2 disc any, as long as it's Lion King 1. I will pay immediately through PayPal! Please only reply to this thread if you have the item, thanks!!!

could you not wait and save up a bit more maybe?

It's not for me, it's my little sister who loved it. If it was for me I could and would wait. I will just have to find it elsewhere I guess

does she have a video player? my local charity shop has it on vhs for 50p!

We have the same problem. We rented it from the video shop but it didnt work, our 2 year old was gutted, it played for about 15 mins before it cut out >.>

Check your local sunday markets and try cash converters ^^

Charity shops are your best bet. Ive seen several VHS's in one charity shop i went into for 50p too.

Sorry, but don't have a VHS player :(

All DVD players are capable of being multi region. Just pick up an Asian Region 1 version (They are complete English) and they are also dirt cheap.

Problem solved. No need for the rare one.

Thats not true, and even some that are require a bit of know how or a special remote (like the Sony DZ-260 I have).

They are based in Thailand, and cheap bootlegs with an overinflated price to make them look more like originals.

Not all DVD players are easily made multiregion.
Asian is region 3
USA and Canada is region 1
Asian & dirt cheap = fake
