Thats cool, ill let you know if i see anything :)
Here is a quick basic lowdown on connections

DVI is the connection you get on a PC, HDMI is the same but on a TV, BluRay player, PS3 etc
HDMI is the same as DVI but looks different, so if you get an adapter they are interchangable, so you can plug a PC into a HDMI TV.
The only thing you need to look out for when getting a DVI connection and no HDMI, is that the monitor supports HDCP.
the HDCP bit means that for example if you wanted to plug a PS3 into a monitor with only DVI you could watch BluRay, as the HDCP is a form or copy protection.

All HDMI has HDCP support not all DVI does. Hope that helps, sorry if i made that sound confusing

Cool, Glad (Hope) it helped lol
The only thing you really need to remember is if you have a monitor without HDMI but has DVI and supports HDCP it will work exactly the same as a monitor with HDMI, you just need to use something like this

Not bad, but it does not have HDCP, so might as well get a VGA version for less then £100

One rather important thing which you have omitted is that DVI cannot carry sound.

I was going to put that, but it was quick basic info and not all HDMI carry sound, so i did not want to confuse things

so if using the dvi connection with a 360 how would you output the sound? the optical output?

Not sure if there is a place to get audio output on the back of the 360, I'm no xbox genius:

I think you can get a headset which you can definitely output sound from, but thats not ideal for all people.

Just spotted this thread, its really useful:
