Wanted - 2 x EVGA 8800GTX 768MB Black Pearl Edition cards

I'm looking to buy two "Black Pearl" edition 8800 GTX/Ultra cards to use in a watercooling SLi system. These used to be horrendously expensive - however, I know they are very difficult to sell now (even on eBay!) due to the requirement of having water cooling in your system to use them.

If ANYONE knows anything about where I could get this card (new) please do tell. There are some left on various websites but at ridiculous prices for a 3 year old card (£400!!).

I'd be happy to consider used cards in good condition, with realistic prices. Thanks!

My apologies! It's only two years old. Mis-typed that, there. Still, I know how you feel! :D

That's alot of graphics power!!
I'm just wondering though, do you really need it?
Are there any games on the PC that are out that really would make full use of two of these monster graphics cards.

Don't get me wrong I'm / used to be a avid PC gamer, although I can't think the last time I played a decent game on my PC....actually think that would have been Crysis, which would look great with two of those monster cards....worth the cost, depends if you have money to burn, or are that enthusiastic.

I've always upgraded my PC every 6-12 months depending on circumstances, but now I just don't see the point when I can buy a console for the price of a graphics card, and have some change. The PC always had a exclusive array of games, although now games are nearly all being sold cross-platform, making it even harder to justfy forking out that much for something you can get on a console for a fraction of the cost....actually games are cheaper on the PC, but I really should be doing some work :w00t:
