I've got a 22" hdtv for sale, its a samsung. Was looking to list it at the end of the week for£130 but will let it go for £120.
#2
which model is it?

I have a sense one I got from ebuyer, never really been used. Will be expired threads in the deals section.
The TV got amazing reviews.
If you could collect or meet half way (I'm in Penshaw) then we could put a good deal together. :-)

Not far from Washington.
£100 collected?

Think il see if anyone has anything better to offer, would prefer a more recognised brand. Also i can get a brand new 1080p LG for 150 from richer sounds, so maybe £100 would be too much.

Have a look on Comet's website....just ordered a Hitachi 22" HD with freeview for £159.....contrast 3000:1 which seemed to beat most of the other models (Mum wanted Hitachi)

They had one in for £149.99 as well ...last time I checked it was available to collect from Kingston Park store :)

I live in Newcastle and have an LG 22inch Full 1080p HD with a Brand new Freeview HD box with BBC iPlayer. Small scratch towards top of screen only noticeable on bright white. Blacks on this are amazing. Also can claim 3 months free Top Up TV which includes Sky Sports 1 and 2 and ESPN. Looking for £170.

How noticeable is the imperfection? its only going to be used for gaming. Also cant stretch to £170 as my top end is £150 how much is the freeview hd box worth? also could you possibly upload some photos?

cheers for the heads up luvvlychocolate, im looking for a 1080p but if theres nothing going round i might get one of those :)

The small scratch is only noticed when the screen is bright white or a very light pastel colour. I will upload photos when I get home around midnight. TV RRP alone is £150 and the Freeview HD box was more than £100
#11
Ok, would you be willing to sell only the monitor? if so what price would you like?

Just give me your best offer when I provide pics, model number, full spec.
#13
No probs. If you get some pics on tonight il let you know first thing 2moro, cheers.
#14
Would you be interested in a 32inch Samsung LCD TV?

would you take £90 collected for just the tv? I was looking to get this exact monitor from richer sounds but thought id give here a go first, they're £150 new there

No, the only reason I'm selling it is because its a wonderful distraction from my studies. If your not willing to offer close to £140 I will gladly keep it.

The HD picture quality is awesome. The small scratch I mentioned I think is just a small wipe of a pencil or fineliner pen and can be only seen when you strain your eyes to find it. Otherwise as new condition.
#24
Ok, no worries. I'll goto richer sounds and pick one up i think. Thanks anyway, hope it doesnt prove too much of a distraction!

*edit*

the most i could offer would be £100 and if the freeview box is new surely you could make 70 or 80 on that? which would get you the £170 you wanted for the hole lot

If its £150 new then £140 is probably not an attractive price for one a few months old. I don't have time to watch this or at least I shouldn't so you can have it for your original budget of £120 but that is the lowest I am willing to go because it originally cost over £200.

Tesco cheap Technika brand Freeview HD boxes are around £30 so I can only really cautiously estimate it to be worth £50 for the stronger brand and BBC iPlayer functionality.

Il have a think

As a matter of interest, you wouldnt be interested in trade plus cash for this would you? http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/monitors/249736/samsung-933hd

Explain?
#29
I meant id have a think regarding the £120 price tag. But i also had a thought ive got a samsung 933HD that if you were interested in, we could trade tv's and i could give some money aswell as the tv.

Would have to be a considerable sum. How much?
#31
I was thinking like £40, which obviously i doubt is considerable

can you clarify that please? Is that like a app where one can go direct to the iplayer?

How much for the freeview box?
banned#33
See Currys link above. I will start a new thread to sell the Freeview HD box when I get home around midnight.
#34
Just exactly how old is the tv mate? I really would like this so trying to justify spending £120 :)
banned#35
Its only a few months old, and the review has it spot on for performance, and although sound isn't great still gets 5 stars overall.

Regarding the trade, £40 might not be considerable but as we are still in the 12 days of Christmas so I'm not going to be scrooge! I will accept that, because I only watch broadcast TV which is not FULL HD so I can forgive myself downgrading to just HD ready (720p/1080i).

I would also want 7 days for the trade to be reversed if either of us is unhappy.

the sm225md has scart, composite, component, hdmi, vga and dvi.

Huge headache having only one hdmi
#38
Ok, excellent. When would be the best time/best place to meet? Im travelling from Morpeth so anywhere between here and town is fine for me.
banned#39
I don't drive, so either Newcastle City Centre or I can get a return bus to Morpeth. Move to PM?
#40
Yea we'll move it to PM. Ah well ill drive to Newcastle then much easier than you getting the bus.
