Usually cheaper to arrange your network in a different manner. Is it a wireless router you have? If so then move your router to your xbox and use cable direct, then buy a wireless dongle for your pc for around £10?

try 360livesubscriptions on ebay - got mine from him for £38 through paypal:thumbsup:
#4
I got my hubby's from play-asia for less than £40... came within 3 days too
#5
Thanks guys, I e-mailed the ebay guy seeing if he can swing me anything... If not the ill give Play Asia a crack.

Shame I would have bought one of those but im a London lad so no stores near me :-(
#8
Sure there is look here & if your local store don't have one you can ask them to transfer one in from another store.

and no I don't work for them!

I don't understand why most people would pay that for a wireless adaptor. Surely its better to connect directly to the router, cut out the in game lag and buy a cheap wireless card / dongle for the pc at a tenner?
#10
Thanks ill give them a call.

Brian my PC is a death trap as it is I know it sounds silly but i cant be bothered with the hassle - I would rather leave it be and just use my laptop but thanks for the tips.

Our wireless is just as good as when we connected directly to the router via ethernet... No lag etc...

You could do what I do with my old xbox, get one of these

http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=154416

connect it to the pc to configure it, then connect it to ANY console/pc (with Ethernet port) to get a wireless connection.

Can be picked up for about £20ish on fleebay

Yea I got a Buffalo one of them cost me £35, its awesome so much cheaper and I had lag before got not as much now ;-)

Beware the Belkin one only does encryption up to WEP and you have to look hard to find the upgraded firmware (USA site i think) that supports WPA, this may not be an issue with the Buffalo but I don't know for sure.

It was wierd at first I don't really understand it :p. It supports wep64,wep128 and wpa, that right?

The one I bought was only WEP 64/128. I had to upgrade the firmware which wasn't available from the uk site so it supported WPA.

The caution is that it took me ages to find it, so maybe you might be better getting a buffalo to save you hastle ?
