Has anybody got one I can have cheap?

My PS2 isn't the quietest of things IMO, noisier than my faulty one but I know its defo the fan.

Just a small advice: The fan uses a completely different cabling to the pc's. The ps2 fan uses the most vulnerable cables ever whearas, the pcs are much thicker and might have 3 "ends". I think that you need to mod the fan as well as probably solder it to the cables for it to work.

I think I still have one lying around, it's just the standard fan from a PS2 yeah?

You should get you laser tomorrow btw?

Just checked and the ones in my ps2 are 2 very thin wires.... (very thin)

S'far as I know 2 of the wires in a PC fan can be used to get power (well when you snip the connector off)

At worst I could connect the fan to a 12v dc plug....?
