I've got (what I think is) a 3/4 size one. I know you're looking for an adult one, but just thought I'd let you know in case ;)

I have a full sized guitar, I will check make and model later for you (and take a photo) if interested.
Looking for £25. Would have to be collected though (Coventry area).

My suggestion would be to get the best that you can afford, have you tried your local Gumtree for people selling guitars? The worst thing you can do is buy a guitar that doesn't suit you (in terms of things like neck size, string action, etc) as I guarantee it WILL put you off learning. The Yamaha F310 is a great starter acoustic guitar so maybe someone will be selling it after upgrading at Xmas, I bought one years ago and still have it as it's a great spare for when friends are round. Also check out online reviews to see what others say about them, http://www.harmony-central.com/Acoustic-Guitar/ is a good site. Although nothing beats actually holding a guitar in your hands and seeing if it feels right and plays OK. There are all sorts of problems you can have with guitars that haven't been stored properly including warped fretboards which will mean it will never be properly in tune. Do you have any friends who play that could test them out for you? I don't want to scupper anyone's chances of selling to you, just want to point out some of the things I I learned the hard way. Good luck!

Thanks for taking the time to post that is very helpful, as didnt know much tbh. Yeh I have a couple of friends, Ive checked gumtree and nothing is about my area :( I do however return to university (Leicester) in about a week so hopefully their might be something on the gumtree for their. I basically have about 57quid tops to spend so its not much maybe it would be better to wait a week or two when Ive got about 100 to spend?

Sadly there are lots of bad Fenders out there. But could you post the model number please?
