Wanted: AGP Graphics Card £30.00

Ah, the time has come for my Geforce 3 Ti 200 to go as I just can't live with not being able to play newish games (GRAW won't work).

I'm after a decent AGP card for £30 that will play GRAW, Call of Duty 4 and Crysis maybe? For the last two games it doesn't matter if I have to set them to low - so long as they work with the game and will run on low with non-choppy framerates I'll be happy.

System & graphics cards requirements for GRAW & COD4. I didn't bother about Crysis as I doubt any £30 AGP card will run it. A 7600GT may just about do though on lowest settings? Check on eBay if you draw a blank here.

What's the rest of your system's spec please? What's your power supply like?

i got a XFX 6800 which I want to sell. BUt i am looking to sell it in march if you can wait you can have it at that price. It still holds its own in most recent games dunno about crysis tho it eats those new cards in SLI for breakfast . Its 128 megs and I have all the Original packaging including the games that came with it . Funny enough I never tried the games out. Give me a shout if you are interest but as I mentioned I am waiting for mid march when I am buying my other pc parts. I will post some pics if you want.

P.S you also need to have one power dongle(the one you used to power up your Harddrives) free as it uses one of those

timothyw9, check your power supply as the 6800 can be quite power hungry I think.

Graphics cards benchmark comparison lists here & here.

paying via paypal? for £35 I will send it first class recorded. For £37 I'll send it Special Delivery...

(No box in either case, just the card and cables in a jiffy bag - if you want it in the original box with manual and CD then it's £40all in.)

The best card here is the 7600GS (could be a bit poor for COD4 & Crysis - don't go for anything less), but a little dear for a secondhand bare one I feel. Just £6 more & you can have a retail-boxed product.
#10
Okay, probably no point with COD4 and Crysis but anway - still afte one.
#11
Bump. Was gonna buy one off ebay just but didn't win. (6800GT 256mb)
#13

#14
Works for me...

1. Right click on the link, copy & paste it into your browser address field.

2. Change only the **** to ebay & press Go (or Enter on your keyboard).

Comes up with search...p=1&fsoo=1 in the search bar and no rsults.
#16

#17

Oops sorry! It was a search which came up with 15 items so thought it was OK? Isn't there much less chance of someone promoting their item(s) this way, than posting the specific item number(s)? Would HUKD consider a rule change here?

think its because they have banned the ebay link (or whatever they call it) to stop self promo, and i suppose to stop people posting links saying its cheaper at ebay on deals and things, people would probably end up listing ebay auctions as hot deals, - lol

£30's pretty expensive for what it is (I've was offered a 7600gs for £35 del) earlier on in the thread.)

£20?
#23

its not really expensive for what it is, the 7600gs is only slightly better, 8fps more in 2142:

can do £25 since its still boxed and a bit heavy.
