Wanted: ...Amstrad CPC stuff (small or large collections)

I am on the look out for Amstrad CPC items if anyone has any they want to get rid of.

Condition is important as in completeness. I am only interested in the computers themselves if they are mint and boxed (there are a few about beleive it or not) as I will be needing them for photography purposes. CPC464, CPC664, CPC6128 and the Plus units too.

Similarly with accessories and games. Accessory wise I am after anything really, modulators, rom units, light pens, joysticks, mice whatever really. Software wise, anything by Amsoft will be good. I am after otehr games too but the list is too big to post here so let me know what you have. Magazines too will be considered, not just Amstrad magazines but anything from 1984 / 1985 that has significant Amstrad CPC content in them.

If you have anything you want to get rid of then let me know what it is, the condition (pictures preferred so I can see the condition etc) and of course a price.

Cheers
Simon

Hi Simon,

I've a selection of old Amstrad CPC 464 games...

See photo for details (lots of Amsoft in there!):

Condition wise, some are better than others - if you let me know which ones you are interested in, I can give you a thorough breakdown (Case, instructions, cassette, etc).

None have been tested - the computer is long gone, I'm afraid... so please bear this in mind.

Was hoping for about £2 each, but will sell all together for a lot less.

I've got the User Manual for the CPC 464 too. It's a little bit tatty, but all the pages appear to be present:

The manual is no good to me sorry.

As for the rest, well the Amsoft games are pretty much the only ones I am interested in, so it really all depends on the quality of the contents.

If you could give us an idea of the quality and overall price just for the Amsoft titles that are 100% in mint condition then I can get back to you.

Cheers

Hi Simon,

Sorry to sound obvious, try Ebay....

If I were selling any old COLLECTABLE machines like these or zx81's spectrums etc, I would look there first for a rough indication on price before selling them to you anyway..

These are after all highly sort after in the real world and should command a very high price?

Especially as you say any that are in good condition and still boxed, these are worth a lot.....

OK, started checking over the games, and realised I could be there all night scrutinising their condition, whether they are 'mint' or not...

To be honest, you get a good indication from the photo above - most of the amsoft ones have their instructions on the reverse of the inlay, so aside from that, there is only the cassette - and a cassette is a cassette.... I started taking some more piccies, which are below, but I'm not gonna be able to tell you if they are "100% in mint condition" or not.

In my opinion, the majority are in excellent condition, expecially considering their ages. They do look 'old' though... I can't comment on whether they will run if you were to load them up on a computer, though, as I don't have the facilities to test. I would presume so, but can't say for sure...

Here are some more pictures. If you are interested, let me know... Cheers!

I'm resurrecting this thread as I am still after anything Amstrad really. Games, hardware, magazines books.

Condition is now immaterial so if you have anything you want to get rid of, I'll gladly take it off your hands for the right price.

Here are some more pictures. If you are interested, let me know... Cheers!

Hodsey - Do you still have the games to sell?

I have had a load in since I posted that wanted thread, so am only interested in the following...

Amsoft - Glen Hoddle Soccer
Amsoft - 3D Boxing
Amsoft - Qaballah
Amsoft - Macrocosmica
Amsoft - Hardball
Amsoft - Nuclear Defence
Ricochet - Ghostbusters
Mastertronic - barry McGuigans Boxing
Shoalins Road.

Could offer £10 inc postage for the lot if you still have them?

2nd class recorded will be fine as long as they are sent recorded delivery.

Hi Simon,

Not sure whether I put them in a Charity bag, or whether I've put them away somewhere... I'll have a look when I get home tonight, and let you know. But yea, £10 seems fine to me.... I'll confirm tonight

PM me your details and I'll do the same - I'll get posted tomorrow if payment received before then, otherwise Saturday.

Sure you don't want any others?
