Looking for a tablet. Let me know what you've got (make/model/tech-specs). £100 is absolute maximum - if you could let me know where you purchased from and possibly link me that would be appreciated too.

- 256MB RAM min
- 7-10" (10" preferred)
- Android 2.1+
Location:
Manchester

unfortunately you get what you pay for. Try dealextreme though if you are adament that you do want one for your budget.

I know someone that is tweaking the software on a chinese pad and also adding capacitve screen to it. should have a demo within the next 10 days but price will be over £200 I'd say but it will have the same processor as the Galaxy tab, 8" as well as HDMI out. PM me if you want more details.

Absolutely mate - not looking for an iPad and I know my limitations. DX is a good shout - looking for something already in the UK though.

Thanks for the post but £200 is beyond my current budget.

You will just be really disappointed at £100 - you'd be better just getting a San Francisco at that price :/

I have a san fran Tom.

And while I appreciate the feedback, I have a clear purpose in mind for this hardware!

Thanks Tim, but the Via in that is woeful.

I know I won't get anything brilliant new - but if anyone has anything used I'd be up for knowing what.

If your still looking I have a 7" Tablet with 256MB ram and an ARM processor. Only runs Android 1.6 though (as do the majority of these tablets, if you see them claiming to run 2.1 it is normally version 2.1 of there particular firmware not Android).

Probably not much use to you but it's £50 if you want it.
