Wanted: Anyone got a spare IDE 2.5 HDD Caddy?

As above, I've got a couple of dead laptops and I'd like to try and make use of the drives.

Not sure what I'll be able to do with them, both have xp on. I'd like to use one for storage and the other I will prob wipe and pass on so any advice on how best to do this would be greatly received.

Thanks

I don't have a caddy, but i'd be interested in your drives if you think about selling them.

What size are your Hard drives? I'm looking for a decent size 2.5" and I have a 2.5" caddy I could do a Part exchange with.

Thanks that one sounds good, I have an eSATA port too, so maybe I'll keep the sata drive (sorry to those who wanted it). Send me your payment details through pm.

Any help on how a blank drive works for use as storage would be appreciated please?
Would it work like a mem stick maybe or do I need to put a program on it to use?

When I've sorted my drives out I'll do a FS post with them, I might end up selling them all inc enclosure when I'm done ;-)

Thanks all

Works like a very big memory stick, appears as a drive letter in My Computer. Drag and Drop, easy peasy.

WIll send you my details via PM.
