I need the connection to enable you to play a nintendo 64 on a new tele....
i think scart one end and a rf ?? the other....
a friend reacons a game cube lead would do........... any ideas.........

I have an s-video cable you can usually get em on ebay for quite cheap most new tvs have s-video connections

yeah look the up on ebay, just check your tv's cnnections s-video is quite a good connection look up pics of the socket on google to confirm hope that helps

I've got a bog standard RFU adapter if that's any good.

I've got a multi-console madcatz one that will work with the gamecube, n64, playstations and the xbox (1)

Its RF however.. still

Are you quadroopley sure your TV doesn't have an aerial connection?

I thought every single TV in the UK had one lol?

Well, If your TV does not have one then if you have a freeview box connect the aerial cable to the rf out or whateever its called..

No you have got an arial connection on your TV which is not being used as it goes into the Sky Box and the box gets connected via scart!! The TV arial connection is not being used to what is being offrered will work as will just need to scan it on your TV and it will pick it up!! :thumbsup:

Either that or you can trawl through your analog programs until you find the right channel... (Its channel 20 on my tv lol - I have to use the tv buttons as I have lost my remote too lol) :-D

I could try and make my own custom version for you...... if you know what to do with the White, Green, and Red Cables i see lol (I cut some of the cable)

gamecube cable will work fine mate, same connection from Snes, N64 to GCN, buit they changed it when they made the Wii.

I'm guesing that the white cable is the video cable, the the green and red are the audio bits.... (makes sense as they are thinner)

Do a search for a gamcube scart lead on ebay. The same lead fits the snes and gamecube and n64. I got one for my snes a few weeks back and was advertised as a gamecube scart lead. It was £3.44 inc delivery:thumbsup:

I hate to say this but I don't think it does have an ariel lead ?? WTF does the ariel go then ??

That should work as just move them around as this is the S-Video connection? One will be for picture and the other two for sound which is normally red and white!!
