tbh, I would buy New/Unused as far as you can where feeding is concerned (no offence to anyone)

Tommie Tippi Breast Pump - 1/2 Price Toysrus @ £40 (trust me, well, the missus - it'll be worth it) OoS online but should have them instore

Glider Chairs are excellent as well, picked this one up on Ebay for £50 inc FREE del

Definately avent for bottles and breast pump. I used them with my 5 year old son and had no problems. With DD I tried tommee tippee and mam due mainly to their price. I found I couldn't express and I had real problems when I went back to work as DD wouldn't take a bottle. This time I've gone back to avent and tried an electric pump which I love. To be honest I don't really find it much better than the manual. I donate breast milk for premature babies and express loads for them. I managed this too with my son 5 years ago too with the avent but really struggled with the other brands.
I personally don't like the idea of using a second hand breast pump but there should be no reason why not as lots of places hire them so it should be OK. Also with the avent the electric handle fixes onto a manual pumo so if you bought a second hand electric one you could put it onto a brand new pump. Keep your eye on boots they often do a deal on them

I tried a good few pumps, and honest the lanisoh one was amazing, so easy and i couldnt do anything with other ones :) x Only paid ten pounds for it too and I got bottles with caps, freezer bags x

My wife delivered in february and I had to buy the pumps as the baby would not feed directly. I have the manual one fro Asda and the electric one from Medela. Manual is just used for a day or two and the electric was used for about a month. Both are for sale... if interested just ping me back. The electric one now retails around 55. http://www.johnlewis.com/230477837/Product.aspx?source=14798
