As per title, looking for a set of these that are quality and are at a good price.

Any bikers out here on HUKD, where are you??

Also, any other recommended extras for a bike besides the lights?

Cheers

I have this light for the front: Cateye EL530 Front Light

It's very good and a reasonable price (around £35). Not too great for off road biking at night, but as for "See and be Seen" road light it's good...

Not sure on a backlight, I have a an old Cateye that does the job well enough

You may be able to get a front/back set somewhere at a reasonable price... check wiggle.co.uk or chainreactioncycles.co.uk they sometime have deals on.

Thanks, but I just done searching on the site and found some good deals in the 'Deal's section of the site for these lights.

those will be cheapo ones that dont give off any light. Besides they are still not legal as main bicycle lights.

Is your life really worth £2!

I spent £300 on lights for my mountain bike, the cateye ones are supposed to be good for what they are.

I went to Halfords yesterday for a rear light but ended up buying a set as it was much cheaper. Got "Super bright 5 LED light set" reduced from £37.49 to £18.74. The guy in the shop showed me the cheaper lights, which really weren't bright and said that he uses these to ride off road in country lanes. They've also got quick release brackets. One light on it's own was about £13...
Hope it helps.

I just bought a front and back light set from sportsdirect for £2.99 reduced down from £9.99 made by Dunlop.
