not sure if i have posted in the right place but my sister is studying pharmacy and needs the following books:

Aulton, M. E. (2007)
Aulton's Pharmaceutics: The Design and Manufacture of Medicines 3rd edition , Churchill Livingstone.

Cairns, D (2008)
Essentials of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, 3rd edition, Pharmaceutical Press.

Rang, H.P., Dale, M.M., Ritter, J.M. & Flower R.J. (2007)
Rang & Dale’s Pharmacology. 6th edition, Churchill Livingstone.

Watson, D.G. (2005)
Pharmaceutical Analysis: A Textbook for Pharmacy Students and Pharmaceutical Chemists. 2nd edition, Churchill Livingstone.

Widmaier, E.P., Raff, H and Strang, K.T. (2007)
Vander's Human Physiology 11th edition, McGraw Hill Higher Education.

Winfield, A., and Edafiogho, I., (2005)
Calculations for Pharmaceutical Practice, 1st edition, Churchill Livingstone.

Rees, J.A, Smith, I. and Smith, B. (2005)
Introduction to Pharmaceutical Calculations, 2nd edition, Pharmaceutical Press.

anyone who has done pharmacy and does not need the above books, would be interested in buying them off you, preferrably in newish condition and reasonably priced. Let me know what you have

Thanks :-)

Most of these books you won't need for 1st year pharmacy apart from "introduction to pharmaceutical calculations". I'd recommend waiting till the second year as most of the first year in pharmacy is a recap of A-levels. Plus new editions are released regularly which will contain a fair amount of new information.
