Please let us know why you appear to be selling copies of this title in both formats.

I dont understand the deal with this profiteering malarky. Surely, if someone wanted to get it cheap they would. If not (i.e. they cannot get to a shop that sells it cheaply, or it's sold out), then selling it for still way below RRP may help them out - and they may be interested still... If the seller wants to add on £5 for postage / the hassle of having gone to the shops to pick it up, then why not? If people aren't happy with it, they won't buy it.

I'm not agreeing with mass scale profiteering - if someone was clearly taking the pee, but in the situation where someone is asking for 4 or 5 more than they paid, but still 15 under the RRP, as a customer who may be interested in purchasing from him, I wouldn't mind. At the end of the day, all shops are "profiteering". None of them sell at cost. What actually IS cost? There are costs associated with going to buy it (petrol, bus costs etc), packaging the item, walking to the post office, etc.

On another note, if I were to "win" a car, in a radio competition, and then sell it for £1000 less than what the dealers want - would this be against the rules? (sorry to take this slightly offtopic :P)

Yes, it would, because you cant sell things youve won in a comp either :whistling:

completely agree that lying like that got the guy what he deserved.

that said, i can see both sides of the arguement :-)

i guess, if its the rules, it's the rules. people are welcome to sell elsewhere i guess  although if hotukdeals started taking a cut on all fs/ft successful threads, i bet you'll find that this profiteering rule goes goooood bye :0)
