You can easily rent a brand new car for an entire month with plenty change to spare for fuel & all meals for that much. Would probably be a better option than buying a piece of scrap?
Thanks i have looked into that option but was hoping to buy something that i could resell when it is no longer needed.
Hmm, fair enough, didn't think of that! Would be a ton of hassle though but good luck! I *think* there was a Nissan Micra for sale on here a week or two ago for around 900.

Edit: Found it! http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/448721/for-sale-1997-r-reg-nissan-micra-au/
Thanks for that but its too far away
You're probably best looking on autotrader, and finding one within a few miles of yourself. You could probably pick up quite a decent older car for £1k to be fair.
your car is gonna take 1 MONTH to repair, what you having done to it?

My sister might be selling her Clio soon, just need to MOT it before selling, im in west yorkshire though
still looking :(
There are 820 cars between £500 (I cut out all the crap wanted ads) and £1k on autotrader, within 20miles of b16, I assume if you're in the midlands then this will cover some of your area aswell...it's not that hard to look, the site does most of the work for you.
