they are soo sooo much hassle its unbelievable. all the label paper is different and i could never get the damn things printed properly. i would recommend getting printable cd's and a compatible printer. much better results, less hassle. i have a canon i865 and its a breeze.

Get an Epson 265 printer. Costs about £60 new, allows you to put the CD in the printer and print direct

thanks guys, I don't want to buy a printer just for this though. Have two printers already, one that does everthing but print CDs and another for printing docs as the ink is dirt cheap. I only need this for the occasional CD, but if others agree these labelling kits are c**p, I might just stick to a pen...

they definately are c**p. you will get just as good results with just the stickers putting them on by hand. either do this if you are desperate for a label or use a pen.

right, might just do that. saw a pack of 200 labels on scan today only for less than £4 and needed to bump the order up for free shipping so thought I'd give this a go. Do you know if I can I download free software to align the image with the labels..?

EDIT: I'll still keep this open for a day or two in case someone has one and offers a different opinion re it's suitability for the job.
