As the title, I need and will consider any charger (usb or mains) for the v50.
I dont really want to pay anything, as the phone is for a friend.
I would ideally like to trade for another charger...I have pretty much all newish chargers and would be happy to swap 2 or 3 that someone needs to get one for the v50 in return.
I also have a couple of usb cables, lanyards, headphones and all phone related things that I would trade...far too many to list or take photos of...so just ask away if interested.

eBay?should cost £3

there is an alternative way. Cut a nokia charger then strip it abit then u get 2 wires positive and negative. Then connect the wires to the battery use installation tape to keep place and voilà your battery is charged in a few hours. I've done this before LOL
#4
hmm i might give that a try, any nokia chargers in particular?
#5
I used the older one just before the newer ones? Make sure u put the positive and ngative on the battery not where the charging port is.

wouldn't happen to have a website explainging this in anymore detail would you, or is it as simple as:

1. cut nokia charger
2. locate positive and negative wires
3. tape them to the pins on the battery itself

did it work?

sorry for not replying marzBarz, i didn't have the guts to try it in the end, but have left some rep for you for your time and effort anyway.
#12
thanks for the pics marubi, but is it actually compatible with the v50, it doesn't look too similar to this:

Could it just be the angle that makes it look different?
#13
its different, its smaller then the picture
sorry
#14
does that mean that it's not compatable with the v50 then?
#15
Does that have charger have 2 silver pins/plastic and then 3 small gold pins? Looks very similar to a v980 one from the images.
#16
yeah it does
#17
ok, anyone else got a motorola v50 charger that they would consider swapping???
#18
Just try my method i was scaring you when i said it may blow up but i very doubt it. Atleast it will help you check if the phone works.
#19
i have indeed tried your method, about an hour ago...nothing happened at all though :(
#20
are you sure you got the + and - right? or the right amount of wire peeled
#21
theres loads of wire accessible, however the battery has 4 pins on it and i'm only attatching each wire to 2 pins at a time...
#22
thats the same with the phone im doing it do. Im currently charging a sharp this way.

There only be 2 wires from the next charger black and white if the old charger? attatch the black to the negative and white to the positive side.
