Wanted - Cheap 3G / 3 Network phone

I am after a spare handset for my old dears for when they get posted off to the care home / sheltered flat so that if one of their "3" phones gets broken they have a spare. after all it will be their lifeline to each other soon.

Both have Nokia 6288s at the moment but i will consider any phone capable of working on gthe 3 netework.

Does not need to be anything fancy because thye only ever use voice calls.

Must come with a charger obviously, and be cheap as it is only to be used as a spare - other than that WHY?

price is including shipping please.

yes it will take a "3" sim as will any 2G phone but "3" block non 3G phnes very quickly hence my request for a 3G handset.

well just tried Mums sim in

Samsung e900, e250 and u600

Sim rejected in all phones

stuck it back in dad's 6288 and its OK

so not all 2G phones work, therefore really must get a ceap 3G phone (old Motorola NEC etc)

any other offers?

These are half decent phones and for 315 it is a good price, I actually have one of these as a spare myself.
The camera is pretty good, 1.3 mega pixel, they are reasonably sturdy and work well on 3G.
Only thing I can moan about is that it has the thumb stick in the middle and these *can* break, but mine has worked fine for about two years now with no problems at all.
