A desktop will be cheaper. Is there any reason why it needs to be a laptop?

Thanks for offer but the lines on the screen put me off as my tv had the same problem and needed a whole new screen fitted.

What's the minimum delivered you would accept? Thanks

Well I want to clear a minimum of £50 so lets say £50 + P&P. Now P&P can be as cheap as £8 but that usually means that its not fully covered. The last time I sent IT equipment I sent it via RM Standard parcels and it cost me £15 but was fully covered.

Would it be possible to send via collect+ if you send it to my local shop it's only £3.49 with £50 cover.

I would be happy to send via collect+...... I presume laptops can be sent sent via collect+ (will it be fully covered?)

Their website says 'With Collect+ you're protected with online tracking and £50 compensation cover as standard'
#19
Ok, I can send via collect+ however it will be at your risk as I have never used collect+ for IT equipment. If you are happy that they fully cover this item then I am happy to proceed with the sale

I have sent a similar priced laptop via Collect+ before with no problems - £3.49 - shop to shop service - butu easier for seller as no need to wait in for a collcetion.

And its fully tracked from the momernt you drop it off - like you get the email on your phone as you walk out of the shop to say its in the system :)

just make sure its well packed - they are quite generous with box size and the parcel can be up to 10kg up to 50x30x30 cm but it can be a little bigger! Collect+ CS told me taht if teh shop accepts the parcel then it goes!

Thanks for the info :)

I also noticed that for £5 (extra £1.50) they will deliver it to your home

that depends on what buyer wants

I always prefer deliver to a shop because I work all day so always end up going to couriers depots in the evening after having to go home and get the card - grrrr

with Collect+ the buyer gets an SMS message on their phone with a code that the local shop puts into the system then releases the parcel.

I just wish some of the bigger couriers would offer a similar service :)
