Will buy a 'Cheap' projector - new or used for our school exchange with Malawi. Will need to display Powerpoint presentation and preferably widescreen films. Cheapest I've found new is 250ish on Dabs (but older/rubbish ones should be considerably cheaper).
Shipping/Payment:
Pickup from around Aylesbury or Watford.

there was one for £60 the other week, and another for £75 as well with 'supposed' bulb life left.
So should easily get one, however try AVForums as well as obviously more specialist forums over there too.

Thanks. Anyone have knowledge here of what would be required? I might go to the 'dark side' (ebay) to get one (I've only 2 weeks left to find one), but don't really know anything about it...

For just films and powerpoint id get basic, reason is no need for anything too good.
Powerpoint you can use any projector, films for general usage and not a small home cinema then also i wouldnt care too much so something like the IN1

Here is it new:
http://www.kikatek.com/product_info.php?products_id=72273&source=froogle

that guy never sold his, but never seemed to come bakc online either

and theyre the spare lamps.

Thats the main concern with 2nd hand projectors the bulbs, you might pick up a projector for even say £50 but then get it and the bulb life has something like 100hours left, then your need to spend out for a new bulb and believe me the bulbs are usually £125+ on their own!

Hi there mate,

Ive got a InFocus LP420 Projector that I need to sell with plenty of bulb life left!

Its an amazing machine and its amazing for watching movies or playing on a games console!

It isn't one of these cheap build low quality machines; the picture is to the highest standard and you will not be let down.

Here is a website where they review quite a few projectors: http://www.projectorcentral.com/InFocus-LP420.htm where it has been rated 4/5

Let me know anyway, regards, pavanpaw

Is this being bought by the school? If so give richer sounds a call on 020 7407 9090 to see what they can do for you. If you can do a story about the exchange program and get it in the local paper they may even donate you one for a mention in the article and a pic.

Hi
I have a Sony Projector, with a spare brand new bulb. Interested?

SONY CPJ D500 PROJECTOR + SPARE BRAND NEW SONY BULB

I have this projector for sale.
More info about the spec of the projector can be found here:

http://www.tabone.com.mt/sony/cpj-d500.htm

I purchased this about 9 months ago and used it 3 times for a slide show of pictures after a family wedding. I have used it for a total of 3 hours max. The current bulb was new when i purchased the projector.
I also have a brand new bulb still sealed in the box and unused.

An online manual can be found here:

http://www.theusermanualsite.com/manuals/mfg/sony/sony_cpj_d500_cpjd500.html

The cheapest price for the bulb alone is £135.

Looking for £150 ono for the projector and bulb and a SONY bag for the projector

Any questions, please let me know.

This looks interesting, because a spear bulb would be useful. Can you take a photo (I should have first dibs on this as it is my thread;but I'm out for the night down), and could you bring the price down a touch (partly because it will be a pain to claim back the money buying through here....it's not for me it's for Africa!)
