Hi Ace, not saying you will find what you are looking for but a good staring point is www.videk.co.uk.

Good luck:thumbsup:

You may have a problem there. I don't think you can upscale protected media (i.e. DVDs) over component.

The only way I have found is going from HDMI to DVI to Component:?, lots of potential for signal loss sadly.

Check out .videk.co.uk

its a dvd player that upscales dvd's. samsung product. and component cables can carry the hd signal. im already using my dvi port on my tv for my pc. the 2 hdmi ports on tv are bust so i only have the components left, red, green, blue, red and black (or white, cant remember). the dvd player has component sockets and a hdmi. so hdmi to component or just components would be great.

Ref: my comment above, you'll need to have a look in the baco of the instruction manual of the dvd player to see what output it will give over component on CSS-encrypted DVDss - it'll probably say something like this:

Component output for CSS-encrypted DVD discs (almost all commercially pressed DVD discs) is limited to 480i/480p only.

I fear you won't be able to upscale to 720p/1080i via component
