Wanted: Cordless Home Phone set

The phones we have at home upstairs are dying. Even when fully charged, they die after a few minutes on the phone. I've got new batteries and had no luck.

I am looking for a decent cordless home phone set. Needs to be at least two handsets. Preferably a decent brand at a good price.

Does anyone have one, or can refer me to somewhere?

Thanks.

Condition? Box? And I would need them working properly, in a long call, which means with batteries.

If you can sort out the batteries in the phone such that I receive them and they work properly, £10 delivered is fine.

That's fine. Problem with mine is they are fine but don't retain charge so I don't want to have the same problem again! I need to buy working phones!

I'm even happy to pay for the battery so can pay £12 delivered but need you to get the batteries and confirm that it works properly.

Turns out the set I currently have is the Philips CD 235, similar to the one offered here.

have you tried just replacing the batteries, rechargables only recharge so many times. worth a go!
