Hi there,
Am looking for cross stitch kits to do in my spare time.

Have been on ebay and online shops but wondered if anyone on here had any they were looking to sell?

I prefer nostalgia images, teddys, christmas but am open to suggestions.

Am looking for big kits with a large end product but not pricey!

If you have any completed patterns my other half has some she would be willing to swap, or I could raid her collection to sell!!!

What sort do you like? Because she does have a load of surplus kits she is addicted to buying them (spent over £200 in the last three months on ebay) can also trade mags etc.

They are carp with poor quality easily snapped threads (according to she who must be obeyed) and the designs are really old fashioned.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I am a stickeler for quality and prefer the DMC etc styles and quality. I am quite advanced (or so I'd like to think) and they are relatively simple.

Good suggestion though for beginners, thanks rep added.

Hmm I'm not sure she'd like you raiding her collection without her knowing!!

I am after kits ideally- I do seek out patterns now and then but as I;m in quite a stressful teaching placement at the mo I don't have time to seek out aida and threads and am after a fully complete kit that I can do to wind down after my day.

I am particularly liking teddys, pets, christmas or nostalgic images (children and toys etc) at the moment

Havent any to swap as I hoard handbags and card making stamps but not so many cross stitches and cannot afford the mags!

Rep added also for your help

Yes I'd like to have a look if you don't mind. Any idea on the size and how much you'd be looking for?

I was joking about it being without her knowing, I'll see what she has out of the types you like, she does have a forever friends alphabet chart that she has doubled up on I know that much.

Right, sorted them out now and I actually have 2 sets, they are:

Brand new and sealed Country Companions - Grandfather Clock counted cross stitch kit, size 20 x 35.5cm (8 x 14") £8 including postage by bt or ppg
http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd298/caz1cool/crossstitchclock.jpg

Brand new and sealed Design Works - Happiness Bears counted cross stitch 8" x 10" picture kit, (21 x 26cm) £6.00 including postage by bt or ppg.

If you would like both sets I will knock £1 off the total for combined postage.

Thanks :)

If the op is not interested i will start a thread for you

Thanks for taking the time to find them out, I appreciate it.
Unfortunately, as good value as they are, they're a littl out of my price range for now. I give full permission for you to trade with Harl on this thread though.
