Wanted: DDR3 RAM + external drive.

Keith0Keith0

Looking to upgrade my laptop's ram, max it can take is 8gb over 2 slots, anyone got any spare? Currently at 3gb (1x 2gb + 1gb) so I could trade these if you want. :)

The drive can be any size but preferably something with more than 40gb. (Cheap too please.. :) )

No idea what you regard as cheap but I have a WD My Book Essential 1.5 TB - Hard drive - external - USB 3.0 that was a replacement for another faulty drive £80 delivered. Still in plastic bag and never used, supplied with the adapter and cable as I already have a 2TB

Probably a lil too expensive for me I'm afraid. Thanks though. :)

Got a Buffalo Drivestation 500GB external USB drive. Had it a while but hasn't had much use (put some PS3 backups on it, moved house and then forgot about it). £25 plus postage at cost (it's boxed and probably weighs just over 1kg so postage won't be cheap)

Could also include a ZTE MF626 USB Dongle, unlocked to any network fo an extra £5 (noticed your other thread).

How much would postage be? (Struggling student.. :P )
I'd certainly take the Dongle for £5 + postage tho.

Would be wary about using two non-identical RAM modules. What is the speed of the 2GB that you already have, mine are 1067Mhz. No point selling you a single one if you are using 1333MHz for example.

They're actually 664MHz, so maybe you're two are good, how much?

£18 delivered? Would suggest that you make sure its compatible with your laptop first as wouldn't want you to buy it just to find out later that it doesn't work.
