I went to use my PS3 the other day and found that my controller has MELTED!?!? I dont know how ... either the radiator or refracted sunlight.

anyway... The controller still works fine but because the shell has melted near the dpad and left analogue it makes them hard to press/move.

I am after a PS3 controller that is completely dead / unrepairable but costemetically good as all i really need from it is the front half of the shell.

Anyway I know this is a bit of a long shot but if anyone has one at a good price let me know.

If you just need the shell, would an old PS2 pad do? (Not offering, just thought it might be a cheaper option for you)
Unfortunatly they are slightly different with the cable hole, and no PS button hole.
I have one fully working but tatty. Mainly on the back tho. It's just sixaxis not dual shock tho
I am only after a faulty one to try and repair the one I have as it seems a waste to bin a working controller.
3rd and final bump
I have one that hasn't been used in yonks, I can charge it & test it if you want but as far as I remember it works?
