i am looking to get either of these netbooks.

i am open to offers for new and used ones, as well as any deals people have found on these.

if anyone has one to sell, please feel free to give me an offer!

ebay have got them for around £160..

ditto here, but I've not seen any specific 'great deals' in the past few weeks. If you dont mind reconditioned NDC have a selection of dell mini 9's. The company sell on ebay and have decent feedback and they seem reputable enough...

Dell mini 9, N270 1.6GHz,1GB,8GB SSD,Intel GFX,Webcam,8.9" LED = £179, postage £10 upgrade RAM is £14.99, thats about the best i've found for them online at present.

oh...and for an extra tenner you can have one in pink, white or red (yes... I am that shallow to be tempted by colour alone) LOL

yeah same, just feel like im hanging on hope that a "great deal" is going to pop up!

as for ebay, i always get the feeling im being ripped off. hmm

I have the 9 cell battery in black for the advent 4211 or its clones for £40 delivered if you are interested.

I also have the following external samsung dvd writer:

Boxed and as new external dvd writer with lightscribe.Complete with drivers and nero essentials on cd.Cost £60 from Maplins a few months ago and only used to put some operating systems on my netbook. Looking for £40 delivered.

battery life between 3-4 hrs.

Running panther and comes with restore dvds,airport extreme cd,book,official charger and padded case.

The A button is slightly faded but otherwise the machine is in good condition.Some slight scratches on lid but the screen is good with no dead pixels.

Does not come with the original box but will come boxed and well protected for insured and tracked delivery.

Looking for £220 delivered.

This new eeepc looks like a good deal, there is a code that brings it down to £190 plus about £16 quidco brings it down to £174.
These are very portable & have some good reviews, I think this is the new one out with atom cpu.
Think Im gonna buy one.

That's the Celeron model, I think this is the newer one with an atom cpu.
We have the celeron model already.

oh sorry aspire would still be a better deal i reckon 7" screen i found to be too small
