Wanted - digital camera under £40.00

My old olympus is eating batteries and has seen better days.

I can't afford any of the cameras that I want so I'm hoping that someone on here will have something to tide me over.

Must have at least 3x optical zoom and not be made by vivitar :)

Other than that I'm open to anything - sellers must state price (inc shipping please)

Don't want to spend more than £40, cheaper the better really, especially as ebuyer have that Samsung S760 7.2mp for £49.99 delivered.
Shipping/Payment:
I can do paypal or BT

No thanks, looks like it was quite a piece of kit in it's time though.

Not a clue tbh, checked out what I'd get for mine on ebay (olympus 3.2mp, 3x optical zoom, about 3yrs old) and it was between 15 and 25 quid before fees. Best to have a look at completed listings on there I guess

I have this one and for £50 even without the xd card it's a cracking buy I am sure you would sell this if you listed on the site if you wanted

I have an old Casio Exilim EX-S3. Took some nice photos in it's time, but is very dated now. Nice and slim but the battery isn't lasting very long..

I'm not sure really. It does seem to get good reviews, just don't know if I can justify buying it second hand for around the same price as the samsung one new on ebuyer.
Can you tell me how long the battery lasts after a charge, and if anything else comes with it (charger, software, case etc)?

The reason I need a new one is that the battery in mine doesn't last long now too, so I'll pass I'm afraid, but thanks for the offer :)

This is a good point, but you can pick up a new battery on ebay for about £5-£10. I haven't done it cos I got a new camera in the end. Thought i'd mention it anyway..

Liam_p - would you sell yours without the 2gig card (as I've got a half gig one in the house)?
If so, give me your best price

Am very tempted by this, but reviews don't rate the battery life too well, will have a think though and let you know asap

Are you interested in this? Need to know as I may have a buyer for it on another forum but will offer you first choice as I posted here first.

Sorry BB, completley forgot about this thread after I had to spend my 'camera cash' on car tax :-(

If you've got another buyer interested, then go ahead and deal with them. I would like the camera if I could find £40, but have kept you waiting long enough

So sorry for not letting you know sooner (I know it really winds me up when people do it to me) and good luck with the sale.
