Looking for a dirt cheap laptop. Do NOT care about age, battery life, or OS installed. Must have a Hard drive around 5GB and must fully work. It must also come with a CD drive and a power adapter.

Want to pay around £40 inc postage.

I have an old thinkpad that I used to use. Will dig it out and power on. Pretty sure it ticks all the boxes and is a Pentium II. will check and let you know when I get home. I take it that you are not bothered about how much memeory is in it either as it will be quite low.

No don't really care about memory. Also that sounds just what I want.

I don;t have a thinkpad but have 2 old laptops that may do.

1st one is a Compaq Armada 1700 which is a PII 266 with 64mb RAM, 20GB HDD. Has CD and floppy and power supply

2nd one is a Toshiba Tecra 8000 which is a PII 333 with 64mb RAM and 20GB HDD has cd floppy and power supply.

Both are working fine with no issues.

Can find out any more info if you need it.

Just uploading photos now. Compaq is in used condition but is the usual for a laptop of this age and battery holds a charge but not sure for how long as I have tested for more than 5 mins. Has no problems and has been running a linux server for a few years before I upgraded. Not sure what else you need to know but if there are any specifics or you require it for certain application then let me know.

Finbihed uploading hopefully photos here http:[email protected]/sets/72157607993250126/

Cheers for the pics. After looking around I would be interested in the in the Toshiba over the Compaq. Would you be willing to sell for £40?

I know this might be a very strange request but could you take a picture of the Toshiba's lid?
