WANTED: DUAL HARD DRIVE ENCLOSURE

I'm looking for a good quality external hard drive enclosure for at least 2 drives. Preferably 3.5inch SATA but will consider 2.5inch and different interfaces also. Does anyone know where I can find good ones online or have one they are willing to sell. I'm not looking for cheap rubbish.

Not sure how much to spend, maybe upwards of £40

Also Google Netgear SC101, pretty good as it's a NAS too!

My own opinion? What about the opinion of thousands of other users, reviews and even netgear themselves?

Mine did for a year, absolutely fantastic, then of course like nearly every other unit, it went wrong, slowly at first. Started to lose connection here and there, annoying but my backup software still worked. Then of course the full failure and I had two drives in RAW format and basically inaccessible.

Unfortunately, your time will come, I just hope you are using it as a backup only and not storage. At least with a backup, when it goes wrong, you just get a new back up solution and have a few days without. If its storage, prepare for heartache.

Just to add, the SC101 is not a NAS either, it just pretends to be one. Secondly, it uses a proprietary disk format so forget about the SC101 failing and you getting access to your data - it's not going to happen. Finally, it doesn't have a USB connection (ethernet only).

I bought one a long time ago assuming that everybody else was useless and that I would make it work, a year on I realised that not all of the other users were idiots and that it is simply a really poor piece of kit.
