strange request I guess I'm not chopping up bodies honestly lol

My dad is a pensioner and has a large tree that is being bothersome and is taking up his neighbours patio slabs, as he lives in a mobile home on a retirement park this isnt going down too well, does anyone have one going cheap?
only need it for this one job so really dont want to buy new and the cost of hiring is just daft

I have an image in my mind of an evil tree walking around bothering people and ripping up patio slaps lol. Or maybe its just a man dressed as a tree I dunno.

How about getting a normal saw and some elbow grease? :)
i fractured my neck so that counts me out,dad lives alone and hasnt got the strength to saw this beast up :o(
of course if theres anyone in the hampshire area with a chainsaw and they want to earn a few quid let me know lol
I'll send my 79 year old neighbour round, he seems to have a fetish for hacking down tress in his garden at the mo.....
oh please do!!! its got to the point where the site owner is having a go at dad about it, but being on a pension he cant afford the ridiculous prices asked by some of these so called tree doctors
is there no way for the council to come and take it down, might be worth enquiring about it to them, :)
no as its a private park and all those living on it pay ground rent to the owner its up to dad to remove the offending tree
hope it gets sorted for you in the end :) , keep trying on here someone might have one.
yeah dont know where else to try really, thanks tho its appreciated :)
if your dad is claiming any sort of benefits the council will do it for free
i've got a feeling that if you are over 60, your local council will come and sort it out for you.
dads 78 and I have rung the council 3 times now but because its a private park they dont want to know :(

noone I know has a chainsaw so its either find someone who has one and wants to earn a few bob or try and buy a 2nd hand one, cheapest i can find one is argos at £59.99,dont think cutting down one tree is worth £60 lol
