Pingu,

These tanks and what not are / can be incredibly heavy and fragile.... They also come in all sorts of sizes and are used for both marine, freswater fish, reptiles snakes etc...

The postage alone is going to be a considerable amount of money plus, I know it isn't a cheap hobby, especially trying to keep the plants alive and the alkaline and the gravel and so on....

BUT in all honesty, you can find quite a few of these things going second hand (if that is what you are really after) in the local paper/newsagents and / or on Gumtree...

Otherwise, there are quite a few shops and garden centres down your way that also do these beautys...

It really depends on a lot of things - but the whole packages that you can now buy, have come down a considerable amount...
Be careful of any detergent and / or cleaning liquid that the previous recipient may have left in the way of residue, as it will not be good for the poor fishes - not too mention any plants...

Nothing a cat like me enjoys more than FISHING! Especially when I catch one!

Purrrrfect!

also i think you mean a strip light not a UV light!

A UV light is an expensive bit of kit not used by beginers!!!!

Hi there, Where are you based? What size is the tank and how much are you looking for? I'm new to owning a bigger tank as im use to owning gold fish :)

I also have a biorb I dont use anymore, im not sure what size it is. It was used for tropical fish and comes with a heater, filter and light. It also comes with a nice stand. Its all plastic so postage will probably cost around a tenner.

I think its the Biorb 60 but ill have to have to get it out the garage and have a look tomorrow.

its a 60 litre one i think :S something around that, im based in the north east so it would have to be posted, iv got a big filter in it so it keeps the tank clean, it comes wit 4 ornaments inside, iv had no plants or anything so the tanks clean, it comes with its own stand, which is beech wood, iv got food, a glass cleaner n other accessories 2 go with it :)
