Wanted: Good Last Gen Graphics Card

I'm looking for a graphics card for less than £50. It has to be PCI-Express. I'm looking for one that has reasonable power perhaps in the nVidia 6800 series or ATI X800 series. I do not mind if the card is used or does not have box, manuals
etc as all these factors bring the price down.

Thanks guys.

Hi I have a brand new Connect 3D radeon X1550 512mb same as here http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?C3D-X1555 if you are interested.

The card is brand new and has only been put in a machine to test out. Looking for around £45 as I bought the card 2 weeks ago for £60.

If you are intested I can post pics for you
Sorry mate that card is too weak for my needs.

Any other offers guys?
It is wayyy too much.

Still no offers guys?
Would this be any good to you?

256 MB Palit 7300GT PCI-E

Standard price is just over £50, but the "Today Only" price for Yesterday (the prices still haven't changed yet) is £47.88 inc vat
Language mate... the chances of getting a decent card NEW under £50 are very low mate... you'd be better off looking on the Hexus, OCUK or Tekheads forums for a decent second-hand one.
To give you an idea a guy on the hexus forums has this... a bit over your budget but a much better card....

ati x1800xl 256 meg all in wonder card, pal version, pci express, has the onboard dvb for freeview, same spec as a standard x1800xl,, no cables apart from dvi to vga adapter, just been playing ut on it flawlessly, £80 inc special delivery
i bought a X850 XT off eBay recently, why not get one of them ? the seller sells thems 24/7 aswell
they are good 2 but i think something newer like a 7600 is good
Finding a 7600 round the £50 mark is hard though
£65 ish for a 7600gt. Wait another week and then put some extra cash to it.

Or an X1800GTO for £79 or a X1950gt for £89, all delivered. (Edit the X1800GTO is now just £70 delivered), but make sure you have a decent PSU, at least 400W or 500W if it's a cheap crappy make.

Was your X850 XT less than £50, if so could you give me a link to the seller??

Where exactly in these forums are the selling forums? Could you please give me a link?

Beerman, is a 7600GT way better than let's say an ATI 800 series or an nVidia 6800 series? If it is not then I do not think I'd be interested in one as I want the
most power for my money that I can get. I also do not mind getting a used one as that way I can get a better graphics card than if I got a brand new one.

Thanks anyways.

The 7600GS is a crippled GT, so not a good deal mate.

And for the OP, yes the 7600GT is as good as an X800, at stock it may be a tad slower than the X800XT but it has shader model 3 and a hell of a lot more features making it a much better buy.

9/10 PC gamers would buy the 7600GT.

Here is a good test for the 7600GT OC, X1800GTO, 6800GS Extreme and the X850XT. It will give you an idea of what you are getting for your money:
thats what i thought good card for ~100 quid
The 7600GT does look really good, I'm going to look for one on eBay.

Thanks beerman1!!
be careful on ebay as they may have been overclocked and burnt out lol, make sure you buy new or fullyworking. and also the chinese copy these 2 :)
if you PM A-n-d-y he will give you the ebay link for a superb 7600GT deal
How much is the 7600GT in this superb deal??

Currently says price is £62.24. And you have to add delivery on top. You can get the better 7600GT from eBuyer for £63 deliverd.
How much is the 7600GT in this superb deal??

under £60..cannot remember exactly so ask in your PM....the link he provides will give full details.
