no thanks m8, wont a 8800 or above unless the price is very cheap.

looking at a 9600GSO for £50 at the min
#15
I dont think u will get one for under £50 like u say. The few 8800 that still sell are around £75-80 min, and 4850 similar price. Jus up ur budget £20 and get a new one.

If i had my 8800GT still, I wouldnt sell it for £45, even used, I would want £60, its a great card.
#16
Well you wouldnt get a buyer ever, eruption2405 head over to AVforums, 8800gt going for £30 couple days ago, 8800GTS £40, 8800GTX £60 and HD4850 £60, these cards are slowly dying out, look how many deals have come up for 4850 brand new for less than £70, used is overpriced at even £60 tbh as new ones are coming out.

if u want to run crysis, u want to get a GT or higher for the 8800. not the GS, and if u want to compare a 8800, its basically a 9800GT too or similar to 4850.

and u wud want to get 512MB (min)
#20
The 8800GS is the same card as the 9600GS, Both are as good if not better than the 8800gts 320mb.The 8800GS is a real bargain at that price even though it is a bit slower than a 8800gt,
#21
cheers for all the advie guys gonna see what i can push to (price wise) and see whats the best i can get from you guys recommendation
#22
i don't see what all the fuss is about with Crysis. I play Crysis with everything set to high and it all flows like a dream on my 4760 at stock clock speed etc. I suppose if you want to future proof yourself or have things at full HD resolution then I guess I would want to max out too.
