Im in need of a hand-held vacuum cleaner / hoover for a project im working on. Needs to have fairly powerful suction, so not one of those USB powered desk vacs or anything :)

Would even consider broken/faulty unit, depending on the fault. Not to fussed about cosmetic condition.

Thanks

i have a dirt devil handheld vacuum cleaner Model 'DD026 Little Rascal'
Length 15-in (~38-cm)- in good working condition
Red color
Comes with mains charger and car charger
Very handy in small space such as car
No bags needed, you just open and empty the dust box after use

looking for around £15

How powerful would you say the suction is? What current does it pull? (Should be a label stating operating voltage and current values).

I have had a look elsewhere, and they seem to go for between £5 and 8 del unboxed with no accs.

label states-
battery- 3.6v
input- 5.3v= 140ma

i have seen the known auction site which currently has the bid of £6.50 with postage of 3.50 for this item (with 2 days left). similar ones have gone for more than £15 too in completed listings
what would be ur best offer for this?

Well, i wouldn't be happy going any more than 10del, purely because there are similar (Not dirt devil branded) mini vacs going on the bay for £10 del.

Im a bit confused about the figures you quoted though. The wee little desk vacuum (USB powered) that i got from he pound shop draws about 1A at peak load (1000mA) So the 140ma seems woefully low, even given that the larger motor would be more efficient...

Either way, if you dont want to let it go for a tenner, i understand, Just let me know, id appreciate it if you could take a second look at those figures for me :)

the numbers are what i copied straight from the vacuum cleaner. it did a good job for vacuuming the car- thats where i mainly used them.
stretch ur offer to £12 and i will post it trow. thanks
