[WANTED] Intel Dual Core / Quad Core + Motherboard

Hello there,
It has come to the time of upgrading my computer. I've used AMD for years but I've decided I want to give Intel a try :D

I am after either a Dual Core or Quad Core intel processor and also a motherboard. I will buy the items separately, they don't have to come from the same person.

The motherboard MUST be quad core compatible so that I can upgrade in the future if needed. Any extras such as RAM/HDDs would be a bonus, but not needed.

My budget for both is probably going to be in the region of £100-150 although I may stretch if something good appears.

I have 41 feedback on eBay with the username kieran6826

Just let me know what you have really! :)
Shipping/Payment:
I will pay through Paypal. If you have a high feedback score I will pay first.

The c2d is this one:

E6400

http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL9S9

SL9S9
2.13 GHz
06
1066 MHz
8
2 MB
2.13 GHz

Had a look on ebay and used ones are going for about £40+ + p&p so I was thinking £38 including p&p

And the dual core is:

E2200

http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLA8X

SLA8X
2.20 GHz
06
800 MHz
11
1 MB
2.2 GHz

The E2200's are on ebay for £45 + p&p (that was the cheapest used one), so I was thinking £40 including p&p.

Both are in perfect working order and have been tested.

I've also got an intel cpu cooler if you need one.

I could send you a Q6600 with stock heatsink and fan, and a Foxconn ATX mobo with 4 DDR2 ram slots(might throw in a gig of ram free too)

The CPU is a year old but only used for about an hour or two as I sold unit a year ago but the motherboard got damaged in transit so I replaced it and tested on a brand new one which works fine.

£150?

Also forgot to say that would be special delivery or by courier.

Hi Ryouga,

What mobo is it & would you consider splitting? If so how much for each?

Cheers!

Its upstairs but I know its a Foxconn just not sure model, I might consider splitting but it comes down to the amount I am offered. I know as i sya its socket 775, supports quad core and older 775 chips, has a pci'ex16 slot(might have 2 not sure) and 3 PCI slots I think and 1x pcix4 slot

EDIT : its a p9657aa

and you know if you split you have to state the price not the buyers ;-)

Not sure about the price of £150 though for both as I can pick up a Q8200 and a motherboard on eBay for £155 delivered new.

Q8200 is a newer chip but not as good for speed or oc'ing or anything like that, mine hasnt been oc'd but if you ever want to in the future its the better bet.

Is the processor G0 or B3 stepping?

Not sure without taking it off and wiping paste off unless Belarc tells me, I think it mayt be G0 offhand though

I've got a Q6600 G0, Gigabyte EP43-S3L and 4GB Ballistix 6400 that I may be interested in selling.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll have a think about price.
#14
Morrk, how much for the three and how much for just the processor and motherboard?
#15
I wouldn't be interested in splitting to be honest mate. I would need to upgrade everything so would want to sell in one go.

Let me have a think and will reply in the morning if that's ok?
