Looking to buy an iphone 3gs either 16gb (around £300) or 32gb (around £400) on Orange network.

I'm a long time lurker on this site, I just don't post often enough, and first time for me to post in the F/S or wanted section so I have no feedback. So in view of this, I will send payment first, if a seller has good feedback.
Shipping/Payment:
Paypal or Bank Transfer

i paid £390 about 2 months ago for a 16gb 3g s so i think your pricing is a bit unrealistic, i keep my eye on the prices as well, good luck though you may get one in not very good condition:thumbsup:

I can buy a brand new 16gb for £440 with 12 month warranty, I thought a second hand one would be around 25% cheaper. I guess I'm mistaken.

no chance 3gs unlocked £390 to £400

I guess you guys know more about it than me. They seem to hold their price for a second hand one, that price is only 10% cheaper than a brand new one. Maybe I'll have to buy a new one if nothing pops up on here.

Would you be interested in my 16gb black iphone 3GS? Currently locked to O2 but I've requested an unlock from O2 and they should be able to provide the unlock soon.

Otherwise, you could just jailbreak and unlock it using the methods already mentioned.
#12
oh right, so jail breaking makes the iphone warranty void doesnt it

well you could return the firmware back to the original if you need to send it in under most curcumstances, unless the connectors broken, if so just wipe the firmware using the buttons.

so it wouldnt affect ur warranty

Thanks but I'm really looking for one on the Orange network.

Thanks for the heads up, but I was hoping to get one cheaper than that, although it doesn't look likely. If I can't get a 2nd hand one for 20 - 25% cheaper than a new one, I think I'd prefer a new one.

A brand new 3gs 16gb black iphone on Orange costs £460. 20% off the brand new price is a reduction £92 making the price £368.

The Orange iPhone quoted above is mine that I am selling with 10 months of warranty left on it as it is less than 3 months old in, quite frankly, an excellent condition. A reduction of just under 20% for a phone that's 2 1/2 months old works out at around a 10% loss per month. £380, in my humble opinion, is an offer that's more than fair.

Good luck with your hunt anyway!

A brand new 3gs 16gb black iphone on Orange costs £440 in any Orange shop, or same price in the Orange online shop, with free delivery. 20% off the brand new price is a reduction of £88 making the price £352 Which is nearer the mark to what I want to pay.

terry306uk, are you interested in a less expensive, 1 year old 16gb 3G instead? or only looking for 3gs?

Sorry I haven't replied for over a week, I've been away from home, with no access to a pc.

I've managed to purchase an iphone 3gs 32gb for £430 on another site, a decent price I think.:-D

Thanks for all your help.
