Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.

The 6 plus 128GB from apple is £789. So second hand in good nick is easy £600+

But you think someone will offer or take £530. This is AFTER you've paid that amount and been conned.

I'm sorry but I'd be tempted to be once bitten, twice shy on this.

Don't pay this amount again over electronic means where you have zero comeback. If you manage to see it in the flesh then well done on finding a bargain.

Ever heard of .. Once bitten twice shy? If conned.. Why u want the same trouble again.. Gum tree is very unreliable. eBay is better bet... I hope this helps

Yeah I'm not considering giving my money to these unsupported community led websites it's a joke that person is still around and could do the same to somebody else and I don't know how to report the guy so he's banned!!

Sales negotiations must take part within the respective thread.
Dealing by PM or email is not allowed. Personal details should not be added to any listings.

All dealings must be done within the thread
Threads allow up to 5 photos per post, if you are listing several items in one thread, please reserve a post at time of the thread creation (by making a comment within your thread and later editing your pictures into that comment) otherwise subsequent photo/request for photos may be deemed as a bump.
All photos must be of the actual item for sale (not a stock photo) and include a note containing your member name and dated alongside. It is your responsibility to take a picture of the item you’re selling before listing on Hotukdeals and to add them to your thread as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary bumps.

Can you please add images as described above before any trade can take place?

If you pay with paypal goods then your protected.I don't know the person & so it would be between you & him.
I'm not sure if this would break any HUKD rules & so hopefully a Mod can comment ?

I have an iphone 6 plus, Gold 128GB, 2 days old, not left the house with it and comes with a clear minimal case, add virtually no bulk.
This cost £789 from Apple so is unlocked for any sim.

I would be looking for £680 delivered, saving you around £109.

This Iphone was purchased to replace my Galaxy Note 3.... but I much prefer android so am going back to that.

With me you will get what you pay for.

* The headphones (buds) are sealed as is the charger and lead.... was using my ipad air charger. phone is as new.

I tried that but it went straight into his account after I realised he was saying he's sent it and there isn't a tracking number to go with it. The bank said it it was through PayPal it could have been retrieved and if it was done via bacs pretty likely you won't get it back.

Ah mate you have it but I just think the price is tooooo high for me I just can't afford it not after what's happend. Any chance for a lower price I can understand what the rrp is.

Isn't RRP, it is the actual price which it costs from Apple, you may get a contract phone slightly cheaper but it comes with a lot of risks, ie. if the contract is not fufilled.

I would not want to lose much more than the price I stated originally... the lowest I could go would be £660 delivered. If that's too much, you would be better waiting a few months 'til the price drops.

Ouch! Hard lesson learned mate. Bank transfer is handing your cash to a stranger.

It's possible that your bank can contact the fraud department in the recipients bank and start an investigation. If he has conned you, it's likely he has conned others and if there are other complaints the fraud department may further investigate. If you don't push it, they will dismiss you, so go in your branch and persist in a firm but calm manner.

Enough of the thread spoiling please folks:-
No Thread Spoiling.
Do not comment within any trade thread unless you are actually interested in the item listed or you post a valid URL to the same item new and cheaper elsewhere. Links to auction / marketplace sites are not allowed. Lowball offers are classed as thread spoiling. If you are offering an item, regardless of whether in a “for sale” or “wanted” thread, you MUST state a valid asking price.

Anyone looking to buy should follow the FS guidelines:-
Playing it Safe
The trading forums are only as safe as the community which takes care of it. It’s up to you to be careful when trading. If you see anything suspicious, please report the thread quickly with any details you may have.
Use Paypal rather than bank transfers or other forms of money exchange. Additional protection may be offered but does not cover all scenarios nor does it guarantee a full refund. See the Buyer Protection Off Ebay for further info. Paypal gift, whilst convenient, offers no such protection.
There is always a risk involved when purchasing sealed items. Please ensure you take all necessary precautions, request a photograph of the item seal and where possible, collect in person.

Caveat Emptor.
Do NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It’s in your best interest to check out these details yourself. The trading forums are the equivalent to a newspaper’s classified section, We cannot be held responsible nor can we vouch for any listings or sales/trades in this forum. Use your head, follow the guidelines, evaluate the risk and make your own decision.

Always follow the Trading Advice in full for agreed trades and prior to payment.
All buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that either party is genuine by providing and verifying the following via PM to each other:
* Landline telephone number – make a CALL to check out the area code and number are correct. Consider using the BT Directory or 192.com to verify.
* Name and address including postcode. Consider verifying via 192.com
* Valid e-mail address.
* If you’re using PayPal, check to see if the seller has eBay feedback. You can also make a small payment to and from each other to validate the PayPal e-mail address
* Only buy from Verified PayPal Members if possible
Do NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct.
It’s in your best interest to check out these details yourself.

And anyone looking to sell must state the price and add images to the thread:-
