Hello all

looking for a ipod speaker system which would ideally be a charging dock too, but that ain't that important. The most important bit is the quality of the ipod dock speaker.

any offers folks :) ??

I just need you to clarify mate wether it works with just batteries, as ive found a few comments which seem to allude that the battery is used as a backup to the alarm but will not be enough to listen to the ipod. Can you confirm it will work with a iphone? I ask because I have a tv unit with a ipod dock which funnily enough plays music from a ipod but not a iphone.

worked with my iphone 2g. and im not sure about the batteries able to play music as i have never tried it. will get pics up soon, and if i can find them it will come with a couple of inserts so the ipods dont wobble, but didnt need one for my 2g

If you can check the battery situation, then that would be much appreciated. Thats one of the main things due to having young kids, so the wireless option is much needed. If its only mains operated, then I might have to pass as I had several wired speakers of mine have been thrown in the bin due to the kids getting a hold of them and breaking them. Thats why im looking for a bargain wireless option.
