I am doing JAVA at uni and I have a good understanding of it but its always good to have a book to help you along. I have my final year project next year and i'm hoping to make a website using AJAX and the Web 2.0 concept in NetBeans.

I also like flash (actionscript) so any books on this may be considered also.

I'm looking for newish books and preferably in great condition and cheap.

First year we did just C and this year we did C and Java. I've actually liked Java and just finished a project which involved making a simple site in NetBeans and I'm confident I have got a great mark on it.

Let me know when you find them books

As said above, i've just completed making a website but i've not done any AJAX before but i'm told by my tutor it will be easy to pick up.

Thanks for the offer of help, I may take you up on it one day.

I'm not going to do your coursework for you (unless you pay me nicely) as I have too much of my own coursework to do.

PHP is not on my list yet but is a possibility for next year (after I finish Uni). Once Uni is over I plan to learn all languages to at least a basic level.

EDIT: And yeah, I must admit Java isn't the hardest of languages, especially with NetBeans doing most of the coding for you.

I probably have PHP books too to be honest. I'll get the other half up into the loft this morning as they're all in a box. The vast majority will be rather new as I only graduated last year
