My friend is trying to get items for her local nursery which has very little that isnt old and tatty.
The kids there are ages 3-6 as they start school at age 7.
A lot of families have a poor standard of living, and nothing to spare.
I know a lot of you will throw things in the chaity shop she could use, as items dont need to be complete. ie they have some lego but just bricks and a very incomplete playmobil castle.
If anyone has anything-i dont mean free-but reasonable-please let me know. Obviously local to me would be best for collection or if a lot i could pay courier or collectplus.
Thanks xx

Hi I have stuff I could get together for you toys and books for free as I would normally give it away to a charity shop anyway so better to give to a good cause
You could just pay postage I have never done collect+ or corrier before.
Will see how much I can get together for you as my son has too many toys.won't be tomorrow as am going out as hubby got day off but will try weds and get back to you
Thanks both of you. Anything which is suitable for ages 3-6 would be fab!
She has been looking at ebay (resources for cheap good stuff in Hungary is limited)

The mums there are supposed to pay £1.50 a month to pay for soap, toilet paper, and other things used in the nursery. They have what is left for xmas toys for in the nursery, but as a lot of mums dont pay they dont have much. Its shocking by our standards. I am going to visit when i go over next time. I hope we can help.
hi-if anyone responds to this im not ignoring you-im away for the weekend!

Is this a 'christmas' collection or are they collecting all year round - I could organize a collection at school - via the PTA, but the schools have broken-up for Christmas now . Could you let me know. I may be able to drop-off at Preston if need be.

im in conwy if its any good to you let me know
Hi-no this is an anytime collection..just to try to update the nursery a little. I obv cant afford to send huge loads as it costs about £30 a box to send. For £30 tho i can send around 30kilos.
Fungimala i have to go to Blackpool quite often so Preston is easy!
Jan if you can box for courier collection that would be fine? Just a big box would do and i can arrange? can you give me an idea what sort of things are in the bags please?
Hana, they would probably be best collect+? thanks x
