Wanted: LGA775 CPU, DDR2 Desktop Memory and SATA Hard Drive

MorbuMorbu

I am looking to repair an old desktop PC, so not looking for anything fancy. Price is much more important than performance, just hoping someone might have something lying around unwanted.

Socket LGA775 (Core 2 Duo/Quad) - Heat-sink not required - saves shipping.
Depends on spec £15 for Duo, £35 for Quad.

DDR 2 Desktop Memory (PC6400 / 5300) - Only 2 Slots, so 2x2GB wanted, but may consider 2x1GB if it is really cheap.
Around £10

Also after a SATA Hard Drive (Some around 150GB or Greater), don't really need much. Preferably 7200RPM.
Around £10

I have plenty of feedback on eBay if anyone is concerned with low rating, although as I am paying upfront (assuming you have good feedback) then there isn't really any risk.

I have a 17" LCD Monitor to trade if you are local, which I rate at about £20.

Thanks for looking.

How quick do you need the cpu & ram for as ill be selling my intel q9400 quad core and 2x2gb ddr3 800mhz ram (its either corsair or ocz.can't remember off hand as I'm using my mobo to type this) in a few weeks

Actually scrub that mate as the price you've stated is too low and id get more for the cpu alone from the bay.good luck anyway

Thanks for the offer. I would prefer it sooner although I can wait a little for the right deal, however I need DDR2 memory and the think that your CPU is probably more expensive that I could afford.

Don't really want to go much over £10-12 for the HDD and Memory. As I said I am more concerned with price than performance and have seen drives go for around this on eBay.

No problem, I meant I had seen drives that meet my needs (slightly smaller, 5400rpm) for the price I quoted... I agree that your drive is of higher performance than I require. Although as I said if anyone has a higher performance drive for that price then of-course I would be interested.

Thanks for offer, do you know the exact version ? (is it a Celeron, Pentirum 4 or Pentium D)

The CPU was the area I was looking to use my full budget to get a core2duo, but depending on the spec I may still be interested.

    Whereabouts in Bristol are you?

Thanks for the offer. I'm fine for a motherboard thanks, but could be interested in the processor when you have the spec.
